No matter what level of martial arts or jiu-jitsu experience you have, you'll start — just like everyone else — with the first 23 lessons, known as "Gracie Fundamentals."
As a member, you can view the complete program — consisting of 54 lessons, ranging from the basics through intermediate to advanced levels—for free on the Gracie Concepts® Online University.
Instructor and Teacher Training: The “Instructor Certification Program” (ICP for short) can be completed partially online and entirely in person at the main dojo in Zurich, as well as at a few select ICP Ambassador locations.
However, all ICP candidates and ICP-certified trainers/instructors must participate in a training session with Prof. Franco at least twice (2x) a year; this can take place at a seminar, camp, or at the dojo in Zurich.
Mandatory Student Registration: If you have applied as a partner school (dojo, gym, etc.), you must register at least 10 students per calendar year—or purchase 10 student licenses—regardless of whether you are already an instructor or wish to become one.
The trainer/teacher training serves as the foundation of our relationship: We recommend that you participate in the ICP training with one or more of your assistants so that you can go over the course material together once you’re back home.
With student licenses, you support the network, and there are no additional school fees for you. Every student must be able to present an annual license (per calendar year) in order to graduate later.
