GRACIE CONCEPTS® is a complete, multi-level Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu teaching program developed by the Vacirca Brothers, Professor Franco (Coral belt 7th degree) and Professor Demetrio (Black belt 6th degree).

It is strictly based on the teachings of their master teacher, the great Grandmaster Pedro Hemetério – first Red belt (10th degree) and personal assistant instructor at the famous Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Academy in Rio de Janeiro under the great GM Hélio Gracie and GM Carlos Gracie.

The 54-lessons-plan covers all aspects of authentic Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, from Fundamentals to Intermediate and Advance Level. The program includes a comprehensive syllabus for self-defense, grappling, weapons defense, children, and a special curriculum for police and military forces.

GRACIE CONCEPTS® includes hundreds of techniques that can literally save your life in a street confrontation. The Vacirca Brothers’ innovative teaching method is an adaptation of Grandmaster Hélio Gracie’s curriculum for “one-on-one instruction”, later also used for group training back in Rio de Janeiro, the same curriculum as used by GM Pedro Hemetério in his school in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

“Professor de Jiu-Jitsu,” was the first European to earn a black belt in BJJ. He remains the highest-ranked European today, holding a prestigious Coral belt, 7th degree. He completed his training as a BJJ instructor under Grandmaster Pedro Hemetério.
